Missing Person

I'm am *so* sorry, but I really can't be of much help to you beyond telling you that FEMA and the FCC are working on creating a communications net that will digitize and centralize the names of all those in shelters, but it's going to take time.The thing that I posted here was from a tech friend of mine who received it as a call out to anyone with experience in networking to come out and build the network. Personally, I don't have that kind of background, but I do have a net connection and agreed to SPAM the hell out of this plea.
I'd recommend signing up at the lists at NOLA.com and MSNBC.

Check out the Red Cross website, they have a list where you can leave a message that you are looking for someone as well as check the names of people who have given their names to the Red Cross to let friends and relatives know they are ok.
